Oct 01,  · With every book of his I read, I fall more and more in love with him as an author and that was no different with this book. The main characters of this fantasy, fiction story are Tristran Thorn, Yvaine/5. Jan 06,  · Stardust is a fairytale, and whilst it may not be as adventurous as the film is, it still reads beautifully and has a wonderful array of characters.

I loved Victoria in this especially, and Yvaine was great too, but my favourite part of the entire book was the ending; it was something that I did not expect at all, but it moved me/5(K). Sadly, I wasn't familiar with Gaiman before I saw the movie Stardust.

Gladly, I started reading Gaiman after I saw Stardust without realizing that he was the original author. I loved the movie. But the book, as usual, had elements which just wouldn't have worked in the movie, even though the movie did follow the basic plot of the book rather well.
